As a Security Officer Mall Patrol Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the property. Your visible presence will help create a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff, while your commitment to excellent customer service will allow you to assist guests and address inquiries with professionalism and care. You will monitor assigned areas, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with team members to support a secure and positive atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences within the retail or mall property.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and interacting with visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when required to address incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, observations, and incidents as directed by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
