As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will play a vital role in helping to foster a secure and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating professionalism and empathy in all interactions. In this dynamic role, you will utilize your communication skills and be comfortable using technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to individuals on site by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, adhering to established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs within the healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with facility staff and/or emergency personnel to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and other relevant activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
