As a Security Officer – Utilities Patrol - Overnight in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be an integral part of maintaining a secure environment at a utilities location. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned premises, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and being a reassuring presence for all individuals onsite. You will play a key role in responding to situations as they arise, while also providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to visitors, staff, and contractors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in and around the premises.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as required.
• Assist with access control and verify identification when necessary to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document and report incidents, maintenance issues, and/or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
