As a Security Officer - Media Facility in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the facility. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
• Report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
