As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious hotel and resort location, you will play a key role in helping to create a welcoming and secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to guest inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel or resort location.
• Manage access control duties, including verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter and report suspicious activity.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting guests and staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of security-related activities, incidents, and observations throughout the shift.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
