As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for visitors, employees, and vendors. You will be stationed at the front desk, where your responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying credentials, and monitoring access to the facility. This is an armed post, so you will be required to maintain a professional presence and respond calmly to any security-related situations that may arise. You will also provide exceptional customer service while upholding access control protocols and maintaining detailed records of visitor activity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access and manage visitor and employee entry, verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate with on-site staff and Allied Universal management regarding any security-related concerns or unusual activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including contacting emergency personnel or providing directions to first responders.
• Handle inquiries and provide information to visitors and employees while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Support security-related operations by observing and reporting any suspicious activity that may help to deter potential incidents at the location.

What We’re Looking For:

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or possess an Associate's Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
