As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a large manufacturing and industrial location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This armed post requires you to carry out your duties with professionalism and a strong focus on customer service, interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide clear communication and assistance. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring assigned areas.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and first responders as needed during emergency situations and/or incidents.
• Follow all site-specific protocols for handling sensitive materials, equipment, and restricted access points within the industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
