As a Security Officer Retail Patrol in Hawthorne, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to guests and staff alike. You will be a key point of contact, offering assistance, observing activities, and reporting any security-related concerns or incidents promptly. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to manage the flow of people within the location.
• Support loss prevention efforts by being present and attentive throughout the retail environment.
• Communicate professionally with guests, employees, and/or management while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
