As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a bustling logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas through presence and observation.
• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by communicating site-specific policies and responding to inquiries.
• Carry out security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the site's requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any findings.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting in evacuations and/or lockdowns if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
