As a Unarmed Security Professional - Logistics Site in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic food and beverage location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the site, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and engaging with staff and visitors to provide exceptional customer service. You will be the first point of contact for those on site, using your communication skills to respond to inquiries and address concerns in a professional manner. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's needs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
• Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters within the food and beverage environment.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and vendors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
