As a Unarmed Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time in Disputanta, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your main responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to staff, visitors, and partners. You will be a reliable point of contact, responding to incidents and offering clear communication to support the overall operation. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution and logistics facility and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site policies.
• Support Allied Universal management and client representatives in upholding site-specific security-related expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
