As a Security Professional - -Campus Site - Bike Patrol - Full Time in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at an educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding to situations as they arise. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while maintaining a professional presence throughout the campus. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings, facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter potential disturbances or security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized individuals as required.
• Report and document any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with campus staff and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
• Remain alert to any hazards or security-related risks within the educational location and report them promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
