As a Security Officer - Logistics Screener in Henderson, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution setting, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting daily operations. You will interact with a variety of individuals, providing excellent customer service and clear communication at all times. Utilizing your attention to detail and comfort with technology, you will manage access control and badge verification, contributing to a seamless flow of personnel and visitors. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and/or authorization as required by site protocols.
  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity within the facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related risks.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers to provide guidance and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
