As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be an important presence within a residential community, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment for residents and guests. Your role will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to any security-related concerns. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle as you monitor the premises. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the location.
• Assist residents, guests, and staff with directions and information as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and procedures while performing duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
