Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity within the location.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents and/or actions taken during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and/or vendors to address questions and provide assistance as needed within the tech and media location.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience or a combined total of 3 or more years of law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
