Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the location, verifying identification and credentials in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of screening activities and report any irregularities or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to address inquiries and provide guidance on access procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of security-related measures tailored to the needs of a technology-oriented environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
