As a Unarmed Security Professional - Distribution Site in Saint Petersburg, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and drivers, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while monitoring access points. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the secure flow of goods and personnel within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions in the location and report findings as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
