As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment at a residential location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols throughout the property, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address their needs or concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the residential location.
• Control access to the premises by verifying credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors, and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Monitor security-related technology such as cameras and alarms, and report any irregularities or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Document security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports for Allied Universal and/or client review.
• Assist residents, guests, and vendors with inquiries or directions, providing a professional and approachable presence at the location.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
