As a Security Officer - Media Patrols in Garner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting regular patrols, and remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with individuals to provide outstanding customer service, assist with access control and badge procedures, and respond to any security-related concerns or alarms as they arise. Your ability to use computers or tablets will support daily operations, and you may be involved in screening processes such as x-ray monitoring. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
