As a Security Professional -- Distribution Center - Full Time in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while assisting with access control procedures. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution facility to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Assist with enforcing facility rules and regulations as outlined in site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Guard Card or Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
