As a Security Professional - - Chemical Site Patrol - Full Time in Parma, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication to all personnel and visitors. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries and directions related to access control.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address security-related events or emergencies specific to the chemical and petrochemical environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
