As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Full Time in West Norriton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a bustling retail location. Your primary responsibilities involve conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to both visitors and staff. You will be a friendly and approachable presence, ready to assist with inquiries and address concerns as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with store personnel and/or local authorities as needed to address incidents or concerns within the retail environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and any actions taken during shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
