As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with site-specific policies and procedures related to access control.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify any security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures when appropriate.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address and resolve security-related issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to or more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
