As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Residential in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a residential community. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, helping to deter security-related incidents, and providing a visible presence to residents and guests. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, as you will be patrolling the area and responding to incidents as needed. You will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication, building trust and rapport with those you encounter. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and appropriate escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
• Monitor access points and check identification as required to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of all activities, observations, and/or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Remain alert to unusual or suspicious activities and report them promptly to the appropriate authorities and/or management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and candidates must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
