As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play an important role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will focus on access control, where you will monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and interact professionally with employees and visitors. Utilizing your experience with access control systems, alarm panels, and technology such as computers or tablets, you will support the client's operations while delivering exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Perform access control duties at manufacturing and industrial locations, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Assist visitors and employees with access procedures, providing customer service and guidance as needed.
• Carry out site-specific security-related procedures and policies as directed by Allied Universal and client management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations observed during assigned shifts.
• Support emergency response activities as required, remaining alert to potential risks within the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
