Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying credentials as appropriate.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during critical situations.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain proficiency in armed security-related protocols and emergency response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a valid firearms permit is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
