As a Security Professional - Unarmed Bank Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal assigned to a financial institution location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will interact with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication as you address questions or concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access within the facility and report findings as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while on patrol.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal guidelines.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
