As a Security Officer - Auto Facility Patrol - Full Time in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic automotive location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assisting with access control measures. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to various security-related situations. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and critical areas within the auto facility to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Report and document observations, incidents, and/or any unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and first responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and attentive throughout shifts to help to deter potential security-related risks at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred; licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
