As a Security Officer - Shopping Center - Evening Shift in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout the property. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. In this primarily driving post, you will navigate the premises to observe and report on activities, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Using your communication skills and comfort with technology such as computers or tablets, you will interact with the public and support the community. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to maintain a visible presence and support a secure environment for all occupants and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
