As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment at a prominent government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible throughout the area, and assisting in helping to deter potential security-related incidents. You will interact with the public and staff, providing excellent customer service and clear communication while addressing questions or concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, facility hazards, and emergency situations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident reports as required by the site.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary in accordance with site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
