As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and employees. This position requires you to interact professionally and courteously with people, while maintaining a strong presence throughout the site. You will also be responsible for documenting observations and responding promptly to situations as they arise. If you meet the driving requirements, you may also be tasked with operating a company vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents and daily activities.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policy.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
