As a Security Guard - Front Desk in Pasadena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your primary role is to provide a welcoming presence while maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and responding promptly to inquiries or security-related incidents. You will utilize your strong communication skills and professionalism to deliver exceptional customer service, helping to deter unwanted activity and supporting the overall experience of everyone in the building. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate to the site.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, guests, and property management staff as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
