As a Security Officer Utilities Access Control in Moreno Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Security Officer in a utilities environment, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure atmosphere by monitoring access points and managing access control procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and interacting with employees and visitors to provide exceptional customer service. You will be instrumental in supporting the daily operations of a critical infrastructure facility, contributing to a positive and welcoming environment while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security-related access control procedures and following site-specific policies and protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment at the utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to identify and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and communicate any security-related incidents or observations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with team members and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
