Important Information Regarding This Position:
Full-Time - $19.00 / Hour - $20.00 / Hour
7:00AM-3:00PM or 3:00PM-11:00PM or 11:00PM-7:00AM Available - Up to 40 Hours Per Week, Weekends Included in Schedule
Openings at: Allegheny General, Forbes, Wexford, West Penn, Jefferson, Allegheny Valley Hospitals; Shift Availability/Payrate Vary By Location
Must Possess Two Or More Of The Following:
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
- Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
- Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
- Officer may be required to assist nursing staff with patient restraints - proper training provided
- Officer may be required to escort nursing staff to hospital morgue with deceased patients
- Frequent walking/standing required (indoor/outdoor); Moderate technological usage required
- Multiple vaccinations are required prior to working on site (company paid) including: two-stage Tuberculosis screening, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus screenings (TB testing instructions provided at orientation)
- No facial hair or visible tattoos permitted due to client requirements. Officer must adhere to all grooming, uniform, and hygiene standards listed here: Grooming+Guidelines.pdf
- Child abuse clearance will be submitted at orientation
