As a Security Guard - Tech Site - Part Time in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will be an integral part of helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you may be responsible for patrolling both indoor and outdoor areas using a company vehicle. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and telecommunications location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with entry and exit procedures for personnel and visitors as directed by site protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency preparedness drills and respond to alarms or emergency situations according to training and guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
