As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in supporting a government location by conducting unarmed patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout assigned areas. Your responsibilities will include regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents, monitoring the premises, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. This post is a driving position, so you will also be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public as required.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as needed.
• Support emergency response activities according to site and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof as required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
