As a Security Professional Government Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols on foot and by bike, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and document your observations as needed. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle in accordance with company and state requirements. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist in controlling access to the premises as required, following established protocols.
• Maintain thorough documentation of activities, incidents, and/or any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to ride a bike as part of the job responsibilities.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
