As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help foster a sense of well-being among staff and visitors, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This position is primarily a driving post, requiring you to navigate the location and monitor multiple areas as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Offer support and guidance to visitors and employees regarding security-related matters and site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required. 
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
