As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrols in Olympia, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading technology, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, monitoring activity, and remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be counted on to provide exceptional customer service, respond to inquiries, and communicate clearly with both visitors and employees. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and directions as needed while upholding site access procedures.
• Complete required logs, reports, and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment within the technology, media, and telecom setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
