As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you help to deter potential security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position is a primarily driving post, so you will be mobile throughout your shift, allowing you to interact with various individuals and respond promptly to any situations that may arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document and report all observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support site operations.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of site-specific security-related procedures and protocols as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet, as this is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
