As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site - Weekdays in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading Tech, Media, and Telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By maintaining a visible presence, you help to promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere while upholding the highest standards of customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or policy violations according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate with clients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner to address questions and/or concerns related to access control.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
