As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will be the first point of contact, greeting guests, managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing guidance as needed. Your presence at the front desk will help to deter security-related incidents while upholding the highest standards of customer service. This position requires comfort with using computers or tablets, as you will handle visitor logs and other administrative tasks. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and issuing visitor badges as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including visitor logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity through attentive presence and observation at the front desk.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal guidelines and site instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver's license required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
