As a Security Officer - Commercial Building - Morning Shift in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assisting with access control duties. You will also provide excellent customer service, respond to inquiries, and communicate professionally with everyone on site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal on site.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and remain alert to changes in the environment that may require a security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
