As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Afternoon Shift in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. This is an unarmed, driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail business and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity to management and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the retail environment as needed.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for potential theft or policy violations.
• Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift according to Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
