As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including helping to guide individuals during drills or real incidents.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and maintain a secure environment.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and offer reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
