As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the campus, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Your presence and attention will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, and you will be expected to respond professionally to any security-related concerns or requests for assistance. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal's driver policy requirements. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff by providing information and directions as needed.
• Support access control procedures and monitor entry points to help to maintain a secure environment in an educational setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
