As a Security Officer - Unarmed CRE Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any security-related situations, always demonstrating professionalism and courtesy. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any unusual activity.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.
• Communicate and collaborate with property management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns at the location.
• Remain alert to surroundings and adapt to changing working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
