As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for everyone on site. Your responsibilities will include routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help promote peace of mind, and providing excellent customer service through clear and professional communication. This position requires you to be both armed and qualified to drive, as you may be responsible for patrolling in a vehicle and responding quickly to various situations as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a retail environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and support a secure environment for employees and customers.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal management.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual activities in accordance with company and site requirements.
• Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement when necessary to address incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
