As a Security Professional - Armed Site - Retail Location in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to a variety of situations. You will interact with employees, visitors, and customers, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. This is an armed post, and you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in carrying out your duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and Allied Universal management during emergency situations or as directed.
• Maintain a visible presence and carry assigned equipment as required for an armed post profile.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
