As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol - Full Time in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s core values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter of the commercial real estate location. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to Allied Universal and/or client management.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and/or client site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
